lili
Lili was a breath of fresh air.
I’ve been on set with a lot of models over the years. From the intimidating 6ft vogue front cover level models to new faces just starting out. Sometimes it feels like models need to act or be a certain way on set, which is something I can understand. However, Lili stood out because she was just so ridiculously genuine. She’s a Scouser and she supports Everton, not Liverpool. She made that quite clear.
I had an afternoon spare in London and put a shoutout asking if any models wanted to shoot. There was an abandoned lorry trailer full of the inside of an old office just sitting outside the place I was staying. Lili answered the call and within an hour I was sitting outside New River Studios in Manor House waiting for her. She wanted a diet coke.
The actual time spent shooting was more of a conversation of us just walking round doing a few laps of the local area. I didn’t really want to put much pressure on it, and it was much more fun to hear her light hearted scouser banter anyway. She really gave the feeling of a young woman at the start of a journey and she was just excited to see what was next for her in life.
After 30 mins we found ourselves back where we began. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. There are some lovely frames of her in this little set. What a nice way to spend an hour.
